It’s an event not to be missed. On Saturday, February 17, 2018, NEOMA BS and the Confucius Institute have organised an evening at Théâtre de la Foudre in Le Petit-Quevilly to celebrate the Chinese New Year.
The programme of this first edition on the Rouen’s left bank includes a 30-minute concert by the group Vent des Royaumes and an hour-long show where the troupe Euroming will present a succession of tableaux depicting Chinese culture.
Chinese music, dance, and demonstrations
Involving a demonstration of tea culture and traditions, Mongolian folkloric dance and Chinese solo singing, these theatre pieces will transport you into the vast cultural landscape of western China.
Let yourself wander down the twisting trails of the ancient Silk Road, from the interior of Mongolia to the sands of the Gobi desert. It is sure to be an extraordinary change of scenery!
An event open to everyone
“The evening will have a Northwest Chinese theme because this region, while not well known, is very fashionable in China at the moment because it is part of the new Silk Road,” said Victor Bernard, project manager for the Confucius Institute.
Open to everyone, the event can accommodate up to 450 people. To sign up for it, all you need to do is fill out an online form.
You will then receive an email confirmation. This email functions as your admission ticket. Please save it and present it at the ticket booth on the day of the event.
