Ching T. Liao is an assistant professor at the Department of Strategy and Entrepreneurship in NEOMA Business School. She holds a PhD from IESE Business School (Spain), MSc from the London School of Economics (United Kingdom), MSc from Barcelona Graduate School of Economics (University Pompeu Fabra, Spain), and BA from National Taiwan University. Her research focuses on innovation, imitation, and firms in developing countries. During her doctoral studies, she taught at different universities in Barcelona and was a guest researcher at the CBS Copenhagen Business School (Denmark). She actively participates in international associations and conferences such as The Academy of Management, DRUID, European Academy of Management, and Strategic Management Society. She serves as ad hoc reviewer for journals Research Policy and Industrial and Corporate Change. Previously she worked for several years at Deloitte & Touche, in Taiwan, specializing in financial report analyses and due diligent on cross-border M&A deals.
