Mehdi is an Assistant professor of Innovation Management at NEOMA Business School, Department of Strategy & Entrepreneurship, France. He has completed his Ph.D. in Management Sciences (Innovation Management) with distinction “Cum Laude” from ESADE Business School. Also, he is a research fellow at the Research Center for Open Digital Innovation (RCODI), Purdue University. Mehdi was a visiting Ph.D. student at the Marshall School of Business, University of Southern California and at the RCODI, Purdue University between December 2014 and September 2015. His research revolves around governance dynamics of open and collaborative innovation projects and its effect on innovation performance. Mehdi’s research appears in several journals such as Journal of Management (JOM) and Social Indicators Research. His recent paper, titled “A Review of Interorganizational Collaboration Dynamics”, is published in the Journal of Management. He usually presents his research in leading academics conferences such as the Academy of Management, DRUID, and World Open Innovation Conference. Mehdi is currently involved in two research projects: 1) The Enterprise Study conducted by the Institute for Communication Technology Management (CTM), USC Marshall School of Business; and 2) The Global Case Study on Open Innovation, a joint project conducted by Accenture Institute for High Performance and Purdue University with the aim of studying the appropriate governance mechanisms of open innovation projects to have successful innovation outcomes. He holds a master of research degree in Management Science from ESADE Business School. Prior to joining ESADE, Mehdi received his MBA, with the orientation of Strategic Management, and Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering in Iran. He taught “Quantitative Methods for Business Administration” as core course of undergraduate and MBA students at ESADE. Also, his Teaching Assistant experience includes various “quantitative methods” and “innovation management” courses for MBA, Master and Ph.D. students at ESADE.
