Department of Economics, Cultures & International Affairs

Companies make industrial, strategic and managerial decisions to ensure they remain competitive. To maintain their room for manoeuvre and widen their sphere of influence, they also have to understand and act in political, geopolitical and societal contexts. Finally, to meet the challenge of globalisation, entrepreneurs and managers must be aware of, understand and react to the many differences between cultures, values and types of knowledge.

The Economics, Culture and International Affairs Department comprises teachers whose vocation is to facilitate:

  • Understanding of economic decision-making and of today’s complex, uncertain, risky environment;
  • Acquisition of language skills as both communication tools and cultural artefacts;
  • Awareness of the cultural, social and political shock caused by globalisation
